Did you know The Welding Academy in Christchurch is the only Category 1 NZQA Approved welding training provider in New Zealand? Moreover we have just received confirmation that students who graduate with a NZ Certificate in Study & Career Preparation (Welding Level 3) Certificate are eligible to apply for work rights when they enrol for the NZ Certificate in Study & Career Preparation (Welding Level 4).

Keeping you safe on our premises

On behalf of the team here at The Welding Academy, we want to update you on how we are working to keep all our students, staff and visitors safe and healthy whilst addressing the challenges of COVID-19.

We take pride in keeping our premises clean, tidy and well-run. We have put in a hygiene station in the main classroom which has a supply of hand sanitiser and tissues available for use. As a business, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation.

We are following guidelines and advice from both the Ministry of Health, The Ministry of Education and the World Health Organisation. As this situation evolves, rest assured we will be pro-active in our approach and the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors is our highest priority.

We will continue to keep you updated on any developments as the situation evolves.
